It’s been a beautiful hot day here in Hertfordshire and it’s going to be even hotter tomorrow.😎

The Lavender Field is open tomorrow - Friday 19th and Saturday 20th 11am - 4pm but WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAY 21ST JULY as we have a stall at the Folk by the Oak Festival. We will be open all 3 days next week.

The Maillette lavender pictured is now in full bloom as I finish harvesting the Folgate Lavender.

I mainly grown the Maillette to distil for oil but for the first time you will be able to pick your own bunch. It doesn’t dry quite as bright as the Folgate but will still look beautiful as a tied bunch or to fill lavender bags. It is £5 to pick your own bunch and scissors will be provided and £3 entry for adults and £1 for school aged children.

Dogs are welcome though it may be a bit hot for them tomorrow.
