Planting, planting & more planting…

So after the introduction and hoping you have read the About page - it’s the first thing I go to on other peoples websites as I believe we want to know who is behind the brand - I finally planted out the first 966 (yes I counted each one) lavender babies over 7 days between 13th and 20th May 2021 and it rained for most of it which was ideal as I didn’t have to water them in.

I have grown all my plants from cuttings. It was more my personal challenge rather than saving money but I still have a long way to go to until I have grown enough to fill these first 4 acres. This cold and dry spring hasn’t helped and as a result I haven’t been able to take as many cuttings this year to prepare for the second planting in September but that is the joy of working with the seasons and what they throw at you. My next job is to prepare the plants I will have for sale and I will let you know when they will be available.
