🥶Is Spring here yet? Doesn’t feel like it does it? It’s so cold and some of the lavender babies still have wet feet down at the bottom of the Lavender Field but there is lots of pruning, weeding,strimming, weeding and mowing to be done.
🌱It is also ‘taking cuttings’ time. If your lavender has fresh growth then now is the time to give it a small prune to promote the growth and you can take small cuttings so you can grow more plants for free! For more details on taking cuttings go to my Instagram Page @mentleyfarmlavender, otherwise if you are looking to buy new lavender plants then our Yard Store here at Mentley opens again for the season this Friday 5th April 11am to 4pm throughout April and May or by appointment.
🏡 Gretel out studio hosted our first distilling workshop last month and is a beautiful space to gather, learn and and create in and I keep finding lovely paintings to hang on her walls and books on distilling, nature, drying flowers and aromatherapy to add to the bookcase.
